I found the article in the main image in The Australian newspaper today (15Feb2021). I am not sure about ‘conscripting’ people to come to regional areas, but something needs to be done. The number of clients I see who have to wait months to see a psychiatrist is worrying.
I think the idea of a regional rotation is a good approach. This way people going into the various professions know that they will have to spend 6 or so months in a regional area.
The same could go for Neuropsychologists. I would love one to based in, or close to, Horsham. I have several clients that would greatly benefit from neuropsych tests.
