About Me

I have since completed a Master of Counselling and I am in the process of completing a Doctor of Philosophy, with a research project focussing on the impact of management behaviour on the mental health of employees.

I believe in the importance of continuous learning and professional development. To this end, I am currently pursuing further studies in counselling with a Mental Health focus, which will allow me to stay at the forefront of modern therapeutic techniques. These ongoing studies will also enable me to join professional associations that emphasize continual professional development (CPD)—ensuring I remain up to date with the latest research, trends, and practices in mental health.

With a lifetime of personal experience and a strong educational foundation, I am passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges through innovative, evidence-based approaches to mental health.

My experience as former police officer and living with a traumatic brain injury drove a desire to provide alternative methods to address the daily mental health struggles we face.

My longstanding interest in hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was formalized in 2018 by studying Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP.

During this training I felt I need to deepen my expertise, so I completed a Graduate Diploma in Counselling with a specialisation in Mental Health, a qualification that has been instrumental in shaping my approach to therapy.

Certifications, Degrees, and Experience

In addition, I hold a second Master of Education from Griffith University (2019), a program I pursued after withdrawing from a Doctor of Education track in 2018. Those doctoral studies focused on critical thinking and decision-making under pressure in high-stress situations.

With a blend of formal education, professional certifications, and rich life experience, I offer a personalized, holistic approach to mental health. Together, we will create a tailored plan that empowers you to overcome challenges, regain balance, and move forward with renewed confidence.
